Augmented Reality & Enhanced Visualization
Augmented Reality in Education
For those not familiar with the term, augmented reality (AR) is the projection of computer graphics onto objects in the real world. It is different from virtual reality in this way, which takes people away from the real world into an artificially created one. One of the benefits of AR in education is that it allows students to be able to interact with each other in a normal setting while interacting with computer-based graphics at the same time. The possibilities for augmented reality in the classroom are limitless. Certain universities are doing such things as allowing medical students to perform surgeries using augmented reality.
