How the media affects the method
The six kinds of media include: text, audio, still visual, video, manipulatives, and people. Because there is such a broad spectrum of media, it can be expected that the method of teaching or presenting will be changed depending greatly on what media is chosen. Oftentimes, it is more effective for a medium to be visually and audibly engaging. Because of this, the method changes as it calls for less teacher-directed learning. It is important to understand however, that although thre may be less teacher-directed learning, the studetns are sill getting the necessary information.
