Personal Experiences:

Blogging is such a popular past time these days, and teachers are not left in the dust.  Much of teacher’s professional development comes simply from their own personal experience with technology.  Teachers are blogging and using blogs to highlight students' work as well as voice their own concerns.  U Tech Tips is a blog created by three men that offers all of this and more for teachers to advance their professional development.

In his article, “It is Time to Become a Full Time Computer Using Teacher and/or Student: In my opinion,” Roz Seymor says that his thinks teachers who are going to use technology should be users themselves.  Teachers need to know what it feels like to have a computer fail on them, or the success of correctly creating a podcast.  It is obvious from this video that teachers are using technology out there.  It may not be the norm yet, but the teachers that know what they are doing are more prepared to facilitate the use of technology in the classroom.

 Blog:

The following blog is an example of the art of using a blog to assist in professional development with technology and assistance of using it in their teaching.
