Why is Hypermedia important?

Hypermedia is considered a significant role in education. Wikis and blogs are popular tools within hypermedia that are used in classrooms. These tools are important for communication. Hypermedia is important because it makes the learner have more of an active role in the learning process. When used correctly hypermedia is becoming more influential and more powerful in education. As each year passes, the use of technology in classrooms increases. Hypermedia needs to be used in classrooms to broaden education.
